Jimmy’s Story

Jimmy“One of the hardest things we ever had to do was to place Jim in a facility for the developmentally disabled. He had lived at home for 55 years and had the undivided attention of his family. When his father died suddenly and there was no one left at home to care for him, we quickly realized that the placement was necessary. From the day that he moved into ECCR to this day, almost sixteen years later, he and we have been blessed with an excellent experience. The staff treat him like one of their family. He regularly enjoys many activities, outings, and social events. He has a day program that he looks forward to five days a week. At age 71 he has many medical issues which are attended to in a very professional and successful manner. The loving care that he receives every day would be hard to match. ECCR is an exceptional place for exceptional people. We are so thankful and grateful to the entire ECCR staff for the wonderful care Jim gets.”
