Job Qualifications

A.            Education:   Graduate of approved school for Occupational


B.            Work Experience:   Experience with severe and profound

Developmental delay helpful.

C.            Equipment Utilization:   treatment equipment, durable medical equipment.

D.            Physical Demands:   Lift 35 pounds independently.  Manage

Adults with severe deformities and spasticity.

E.            Special Skills/Licenses:   Current valid NJ Occupational

Therapist license.

F.            Training:   Required ECCR orientation and In-services.

G.           Communication Skills:   Read, write and speak English.

Written documentation skills, good verbal skills to

communicate with staff, residents, families and other


Responsibility to Residents

  1. Interact with residents and loved ones with impeccable customer service principles and professionalism.                                                                
  1. Provide individualized Occupational Therapy programming.         
  1. Provide individual treatment sessions


  1. Monitor fit and performance of upper extremity splinting.           
  1. Assist in personal care ie. Toileting if indicated.  
  1. Protect resident in event of emergency.                                                               
  1. Provide assistance and/or summon help in event of medical emergency.
